One light nibble, and then ... nothing. For half an hour or more.
How are they bitin' today? I asked the guy as we handed back our bamboo poles and leftover worms.
"Someone caught a trout this morning at about 7:15." Then he handed the poles to the next group. Enjoy the scenery, I thought.
