A big Disney Cruise bus picked us up in the morning and drove us
to the eastern edge of Florida, to the place where we used to send
rockets to the moon and space shuttles into orbit. Now it launches
building-sized boats out into the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Still,
from the pool deck you can see way out on the horizon the old gantries and
mammotth hangars where those space vehicles once prepped for their
journeys.
We chose an interior cabin this time, for its Magic Porthole: a screen
showing the forward view -- a Carnaval ship steaming out ahead of us in
this picture -- occasionally interrupted by Aladdin and Jasmine flying by
on a magic carpet or Hook and Smee trying to stay ahead of the Crocodile.
