I was a bit concerned that they might be too grown-up for a good ol' fashioned, monkey-themed, backyard birthday party, so I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a pinata-smashing, magic-trick-performing, water-slide-riding, cake-smashing, thirteen-girls-in-a-hot-tub kinda bash for Ellie's ninth birthday.
