Yaquina Head Light House

A few miles north of Yaquina Bay, and a good deal further out into the Pacific stands the Yaquina Head Light House. We learned here that each light house has its own unique flash signal, so that ships at sea could tell where they were by the signal flashing from shore. Yaquina Head's signal was 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off, 2 seconds on, 14 seconds off.
