Up the Rigi

In the morning, we took the ferry across Lake Lucerne to the town where we could catch the cog train up the Rigi. On the train, we struck up conversation with an old Swiss fellow who assured us that the train would rise up out of the clouds. But it was still a surprise when it happened. We climbed off with our bags at Rigi Kaltbad, and met up with the wedding party. After an obligatory walk to the lookout, we settled in to sample some of the nice blonde ale and I got a good alpine sunburn enjoying the view of the Alp
