It turns out, there are serious flaws in the notion of a tile mosaic as a kitchen countertop. Sharp edges and uneven thicknesses lead to a surface rife with dangers of razor-sharp jagged edges, sure to tear a kitchen sponge to shreds (not to mention the harmful effects on the hand of the wiper). Spent Saturday laying it down, Sunday tearing it up. Another weekend sacrificed to the Mighty Kitchen Remodel.
