To the Internet Cafe Strasbourg, Alsace May 22, 2000 < < previous | next > > We had to travel from Colmar to Strasbourg, not to see the famous cathedral, but to find an Internet connection. Colmar, apparently, is still in the High Middle Ages when it comes to connectivity. We met an art student and her poodle in the train station, and then after their patience waiting for three hours for me to file two stories, rewarded the girls with a few rides on the Merry Go Round in front of Strasbourg station.
