Morning After a Snowstorm
O'Hare

A snowstorm grounded me in Chicago an extra day, but by
morning the skies were clearing around O'Hare, and it looked
like we would be able to escape in the window between storm fronts.
While I waited, I thought about sketching the scene
out the window, and while I was thinking about that, a guy
sat down across from me and began sketching me looking out
the window. That seemed to give me license to sketch, too. So
we sat there sketching until they announced our gate change.
