Lockdown Card

In the early days of the pandemic, when we didn't yet know how serious it would become, we tried to join the trend of making and sending "Lockdown Cards," like Christmas cards, to send to friends and reassure them we're making the best of it.
It turned into a very expensive proposition when one of the kittens barfed on Ellie's MacBook, killing it and eventually causing us to have to buy a new one. (See the moment just after, in the last two pics.)
By the time we got the cards back from Simply to Impress, things were already turning more serious as thousands and thousands were dying in emergency rooms. The cards sat unsent in a box on the shelf for a couple years before I tossed them.
