"Hey, how come we're staying at 'cheapest hotel in the world' instead of 'the great grand lodge'? I asked out loud as we pulled up to the Fairmont Inn for our first night in Williamsburg. We had seen a grand lodge on the approach to town, and yet here we were at a cheap motel.
But I hadn't realized: we stayed at the cheap motel the first night to save money for our stay the second night at Great Wolf Lodge -- the very 'great grand lodge' we had seen as we drove into town. It did not disappoint.
