Started the day with a bit of the ol' historying,
stopping in at the General Post Office, the GPO,
the headquarters of the 1916 Rebellion, which kicked
off the violent struggles that led to Ireland's
independence and civil war.
The front columns are still pockmarked from hits
by bullets and shells.
And although there's a very nice museum and exhibit
commemorating the event, they're still selling stamps
in the main lobby.
