Down, Down, Down...
Carlsbad Caverns

Ellie missed our trip to Carlsbad Caverns when we drove Em to Orlando in August 2016, so we made sure to stop on our way back from Orlando this time.
Just as we did last time, we entered the cave by entering the bat cave and descending 1,000 feet into the main cave area. As you descend, it gets cooler and quieter. And this time, although three of us rode the elevator up, Emily climbed all the way back up and out.
