Bainbridge Island

On Sunday morning, the July 4th, we said goodbye to the Norwegian Pearl and disembarked at Seattle's Pier 66 (five years to the day after we disembarked from our Baltic cruise in Copenhagen). We cabbed it down to Pier 55 and hopped onto a ferry to Bainbridge Island to meet up with the Joneses. There, we joined in the Fourth of July Parade as we made our way downtown and watched Jeff dunk a volunteer from the Bainbridge Water Polo team into the drink -- less fun for her than it hadn't have been 65 degrees.
